+ Does Acupuncture hurt?
The majority of people often associate needles with pain. The perception is that Acupuncture needles are the same width as a medical syringe when in fact they are quite flexible and 0.25mm in width ( which is 1/4 the thickness of a sewing needle). Picture the width of three hairs put together. When the needle is inserted, it is often the tension from the blockage of that particular area that is felt and not from the needle itself. The blocked areas (known as Qi and blood stagnation) can feel tense or slightly uncomfortable. The discomfort subsides as the area unblocks; the body is responding.
+ Is one visit enough to be healed of my ailment?
You may experience a shift from discomfort within your first visit, however the frequency of visits recommended will depend on your overall condition and what you are looking to achieve. Natalie will assess each visit and make a suggestion based on your needs.
+ Can Sound Healing Therapy help with headaches or migraines?
Absolutely. Sound Healing helps to treat many ailments including headaches and migraines by opening meridians and vessels of the body, thus releasing stagnant energy and decreasing pain.
